Emergency Breath

Having a bad day? Pause and reset by taking 1 calm, counted breath:

  1. Sit up straight, breathe through your nose and preparing to take one slow, even breath
  2. Inhale as you count slowly to four
  3. Hold your breath in for four more counts
  4. Exhale slowly while counting to four
  5. Hold your breath out for four more counts
  6. Congratulations! Celebrate taking time for yourself
